Can you believe it is almost Christmas! This time of year in our house is by far the busiest! Not only do we have the typical hustle and bustle because of the holidays, but two of my boys have birthdays a week apart and my son's basketball season is in full swing. To help keep me organized and on top of things I have to have a functioning planner. I use two planners. One is a TN I carry with me that doubles as a wallet and the other is a Happy Planner that sits on my desk. The Happy Planner has the monthly overview as well as everything related to family life and my work. I did a walk thru of my planners for you.
I have desperately missed my Happy Planner. It is the first planner I ever used and old habits die hard. I have enjoyed my TN, but I have noticed that I pretty much just make it cute and don't utilize it like the Happy Planner. So, for the month of November I am going back to my first planner love -- the Happy Planner! I do plan to use my TNs for another form of planning, just not my everyday family life.
The October 2017 The Planner Society kit is GORGEOUS. I used it to set up my planner.
Here is a tutorial on how to make page flags and a walk through of the planner:

It is that time of month -- set up next month's planner. For the month of September I used The Planner Society August kit. It is a dreamy pretty blue with a lovely girl. I decided on my rainbow glitter TN to set it up in. Here is what the inside looks like:
I created a walk thru of how I set it up HERE . Please go check it out!
Hi friends! I had an online friend ask me to make her a planner for her pregnancy. She is due in December and she wanted somewhere to keep notes, appointments and a few pictures. She really likes elephants and wanted it more of a grown up theme than a baby theme. I am all about that! I really appreciated that she was not doing the stereotypical type planner. She picked out the Mandala kit from Calico Collage and I had a few elephant prints in my stash. This is what I created for her using the downloadable kit and my stash:
Hi Friends! I am super excited about the new and one of a kind planner kits that you can digitally download! I talked at great lengths with the owner of Calico Collage about what us planner gals would find useful. I am proud to present the "Summer Paradise Planner Kit"
This is not like your typical Etsy sticker planner kit. This is entirely different and amazing! I show you here . Please go check it out -- you won't be disappointed!
It is no secret that I love to travel! Infact, in the summer the kids and I are on the road for the month of July. It is hot here in the valley and I like to get out of the heat and see new places. With that being said, it takes a lot of planning and I need a place to keep information while on the road. I could store it in my phone, but I have had my phone crash or could not get service on the road. I prefer to have a hard copy and I like it to be pretty :-)
Here is a video showing you how I set up my travel journal. I hope it gives you some ideas on how you can create one too and set out on an adventure!
The Planner Society March kit is just gorgeous and perfect for my daughter! This month instead of using it in my planner I set it up in her's. I did three month's worth of planning to get her through the rest of the school year. For April I set up both the month and the weeks, however I left the weeks for her to do in May and June.
Once I got it done I handed it over to her with the matching little bag included in the kit! To see what is in the kit and a close up walk through of my daughter's planner please check out my video here !
Oh my goodness! I still can not even believe the gorgeousness in my planner this month. I have never ever had anything so beautiful to look at everyday! If you have not checked out Calico Collage you really want to do that! Trust me, it is going to blow your mind and you will thank me later. I used the Spring Peacock Junk Journal Kit as my March Planner set up and it worked wonderfully! I did a tutorial on how to set up a planner, make pockets, and use elements from the digital kit here:
