Happy Halloween! A Few Cards

I made this super cute Pin Up Card for the October Bombshell Color challenge. I had to use purple, green and black.
I actually made the following cards a while back from my stash. All of it is from Close to My Heart. I really am digging on the witch stamp :-)

I first misted this with the eggplant by Maya Road that my secret sister sent me a few years back. I then stamped and embossed her in silver.

I found this stamp by Stampin Up! It was buried in my stash :-)
I hope your Halloween was SPOOKtacular!

Gotta Love a Bombshell

If you have not guessed, I have a thing for pin up girls. I have quite the collection of a few of them. Here are a two cards I have made with one stamp.
This card I made for my Mista Sista -- Marti! She is a total BBQ Babe and even has a page on FB called just that!

Bombshell PIRATE Card

I took the Bombshell October sketch challenge found here:
http://bombshellstamps.blogspot.com/2013/10/octobers-sketch-challenge.html?spref=fb

I used this pirate stamp set to complete my card.
I also was super happy to use up some "Paper Trunk" paper I have had in my stash for a long time. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the paper when I first got it, but after designing for a few clubs with it I ran out of uses for it. I had as many as 5 sheets of the same piece of paper in the line. It lends itself well to anything grungy, country and now pirate ;-) This is my take on the sketch:
Isn't she cute? I found the skull in Indiana on clearance. I think it makes a great addition to the card.
I used Copic Markers to color her in and made her skin tan. She is a pirate after all and on the water in the sun.
I then added this to the corner of the inside of the card:
I really had a lot of fun making this card and think it turned out great. It really is fantastic when stuff out of one's stash can be used. I see many more uses with this particular pin up in the future. Bombshell stamps has made a holiday accessory set to go with her that I ordered. Stay tuned to see the fun stuff that can be created with that set too!

Until next time -- Happy Crafting!

Flowers! Flowers! Flowers!

Do you like flowers? I love to made fabric flowers! My daughter got into duct tape purse making (truth be told I did too) and we would have lots of left over fabric from lining of the inside of it. As a Scrapper I can't get rid of anything. I mean that would totally go against the code of SCRAPPING in which one should use SCRAPS. So, I started making flowers :-) Then companies like Close To My Heart started making fabric to match their paper and it has just been a down hill spiral for me since then. Here are a few of my flowers:

Card I made for a sweet friend. I wanted her to be a pink angel and must have just watched "Grease" because she had to have pink hair -- just like a "Beauty School Drop Out!"

I am kind of into cupcakes and make flowers for my daughter's birthday party.

A card for my best friend using flowers from my stash.

I have to show you a duct tape purse, right? Well here one is!

Another flower I made with scraps of fabric.

Is This For Real? Say What?

Is she really gonna do this blogging thing again?

Well, it looks like I am. As much as I have tried to stay away from it, I have decided to return to blogging. Why you ask? I have started playing with a few different companies products and I LOVE the blog hopping AND want to be part of it. The only way to be part of it is to blog -- so here I am.

I am not scrapbooking as much as I did in the past. In fact, there has been months gone by in which I have not done anything in my craft room other than dust it. Maybe this will help me get back into it?

In the meantime, here are a few cards I have made in the recent past:

I used "Bombshell Stamps" to create all of these and recently won a $20 credit to their store and was published on their blog! Check it out!

Until next time...whenever that may be......happy crafting!
