June Kit!

I put together another kit using CTMH! I really like this one! The rubs and self adhesive twill sheets are so much fun to work with and make this kit extra unique! Take a look and if you want one let me know. I will need all orders in by May 29 and these will be shipped out on June 15! All orders placed after May 29 will be on a first come first serve basis.

Here is the entire kit! The inks, stamp set and base kit! $58.50 plus shipping

Here are the kit's matching ink pads! The colors are Barnyard, Gold Rush, Olive, and Outdoor Denim. Each pad is $5.25.

Cute owl set that coordinates wonderfully with the kit. $18.95

A close up of a few of the things in the base kit! I must say that the Rubs are the best rubs I have ever used! The transfer smoothly and only where you want them to go! The chipboard (dimensional Elements) are really a lot of fun! They are interactive! You are really going to have fun with them. The self adhesive twill speciality paper can be stamped on, distressed, rub ons can be applied to it, and you can run it through the printer! The waxy flaxy is a lot of fun! It is stiff and I used it to thread buttons with no needle! You can bend it and make fun shapes with it! Check out my cards to see what I did with it!

Here is the base kit! It includes Back Country pattern paper (6 sheets of double side) and five coordinating white core CS, Dimensional Elements (5 pieces), 6 by 12 All Out Adventure rub-on sheet (colors will vary), 2 yards of Olive Waxy Flaxy, 10 Autumn buttons, 1 sheet of Self Adhesive Twill, and 30 Autumn brads all for $20 plus shipping and handling! Great deal!

Please see the following post for my LOs, cards, and project I made using the kit!

Layouts, Cards, and project made with June Kit!

I must confess that when I first put the kit together I was not sure what I was going to use it for because here in the dessert we do not camp much, but I quickly discovered how versatile it is to use on lots of things. I made a lot of cards and I love the owl stamp! I like to make matching envies as well.

I actually completed three LOs with the kit, but I only have two posted for now. The letters on "Joshua Tree" are a peachy cheap deal. Again I got some more use out of the cute owl stamps!

Here is a frame I made for Father's day. The stamp set is not part of the kit, but was April's stamp of the month!

If you noticed, some of the cards looked distressed. The CS that is in each of the kit is white core and flat. I was not too happy with the flatness of it, but then I realized that it makes it easy to stamp! Now I love it! All I did was took some sandpaper to it to make it look distressed. I am really happy with the results! TFL!

Some Studio Calico LOs!

These are LOs I did with the last two months Studio Calico kits! I must confess that I DID NOT like the April kit AT ALL! I had the worst time with it, but the May kit worked perfect for our Circus Circus pictures! TFL!

Mom

I made this Layout using the kit I put together. You can see how I used the flaps in the following pictures. The Mom is actually a stamp set from CTMH that I forgot I had. Glad I remembered I had it because I love it!

Sin City!

Here are two LOs of my trip to Vegas. One of the LOs there are three pictures of. The LO in itself is not so great, but I had to show of these new flaps that CTMH came out with that are self adhesive. They are 4 by 6 photo sleeves and you can place them anywhere! These are great for those times that you have a ton of pictures of an event, but don't want to make a ton of LOs! I was able to get 12 pictures on the LO! I am not so thrilled with the design of the LO, but it got the pictures in the book! I put the LO in the page protector and then stuck the flaps on the page protector so you don't have to pull the LO to see the pictures. They really stick nicely! I am going to play with these again for our visit to Shark Reef! The pack was under $5 and came with 15 flaps! If you are interested LMK because you can get them through me and keep my addiction thriving! LOL!
The other LO is about the trading cards -- Vegas style. You better believe that I picked up cards of the naked chicks to put in my scrapbook. It is part of Vegas! Anyways I put the cards in the pocket I made and I used some of my questionable stamps. I like to scrap things that are border line sleazy! LOL! Oh, and no I did not call any of the girls. EWWWWW!!!!!I am not like that! YUCK!

May Telephone Scraplift!

If you are in my telephone scrap lift group on OBS then DON'T LOOK! Hee-hee! I am posting this early because I want my Soul Mate of a Mother, Bobbie, to see this! I took this picture when I was visiting her! We went wine tasting and it is with her that I discovered what wines I like! As you know I have not scrapped in a long time (well for me a long time!) and I went a bit overboard on the LO! I used paint, distressing, misting, stenciling, stamping, pop dots (on the grapes, bling, and I painted the transparency! Two tips:
1) Transparency Painting: Flip the transparency over and then paint. When you flip it back to the right side, you will be able to see the lines and such, plus it looks neater!
2) Tattered Angels Misting, Stamping, and Stenciling: The package says to mist the stencil first and then stamp it (This is my compass in the top corner. Next time I am stamping and then misting over the stencil. For this it did not line up right, but it is OK for the LO!
FYI: The compass stamp and stencil is awesome! The company has created this awesome line that coordinates between glimmer mist, stencils, and stamps. I would strongly recommending that you do a complete set. Go out and pick out a stencil, the matching stamp, and a glimmer mist. It is so much fun!
Thanks for looking and please leave me some love! I need some love.....
