I am a mixed media artist that will always hold a special place in my heart for paper crafting. AC Moore and Fuji Film teamed up with the Hello Lisa design team to create a Halloween Shadow Box. Each designer had to use only what was in the package mailed to us to create a shadow box. The focal point was a print of our choice by Fuji Film. Here is what I created with my box:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRuF_pBJlATXRRS9G_WRkKyRWmFsVHuk8a8ofXqW8ZI7SfEdy85AGJTm_geREXH6oYXLkCGURXCsXKqn7tg6ZAkl8PMcLQT_ywh_d7OVifp_yGuOVWp9J9hDrjhz0ZEMvwLRqR_Y9pGhk/s1600/LBVV0573.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1239" data-original-width="1242" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRuF_pBJlATXRRS9G_WRkKyRWmFsVHuk8a8ofXqW8ZI7SfEdy85AGJTm_geREXH6oYXLkCGURXCsXKqn7tg6ZAkl8PMcLQT_ywh_d7OVifp_yGuOVWp9J9hDrjhz0ZEMvwLRqR_Y9pGhk/s400/LBVV0573.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
This was such a fun project to create! I actually used two of the Fuji Film prints in my box. Here is a 1 minute and 15 second video of how you can create a similar box:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i9.ytimg.com/vi/HfhC44_9idc/default.jpg?sqp=CJzdmd4F&rs=AOn4CLAmr1jS-xV3ZSItkrU16OoShQRrAw" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HfhC44_9idc?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
The hardest part was waiting for the paint to dry! I live in the southwest and normally it is very dry here, but we have gotten a lot of rain. The air is humid and everything is taking hours to dry -- something I am not used too! This is a really cute statement piece that comes together in under an hour (paint drying time may take longer).<br />

Have you ever started creating something and you were not sure how it would turn out? You just kinda went for it and hoped for the best? That is exactly what I did on this card. Pretty much everything I used is from <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/?aff=23">Brutus Monroe</a> with the exception of the <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1132367&u=1740744&m=74758&urllink=&afftrack=">Autumn Red Nuvo Drops</a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghlHTjieq9uXrLtBbw6IUes_iULFdGKC2kdNSwopWqYFEMaJTCSsLtktT0-1uYA31EGq8zM7qV2AsAGUnE5E-_qq3pdoAFavo0WvZ8hXigatCQFnZI0IH1Y-jX5cZKOxcMf6XYAhEfqhc/s1600/SNMM1776.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghlHTjieq9uXrLtBbw6IUes_iULFdGKC2kdNSwopWqYFEMaJTCSsLtktT0-1uYA31EGq8zM7qV2AsAGUnE5E-_qq3pdoAFavo0WvZ8hXigatCQFnZI0IH1Y-jX5cZKOxcMf6XYAhEfqhc/s400/SNMM1776.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I first used a gorgeous background stamps with clear embossing ink to stamp the image (I did this on the leaves as well) and embossed with Penny Embossing poweder (Gilded Gold on the leaves). I wanted the Colorburst to pool and separate in the leaves so I made sure to sprinkle in the leaves and misted water in those spots.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxs499lrrP6aF8iqiKi5yfxWD0_N3DnB0OyptY6bJpZk-R3nvK6Mdlm1Tzyqvo03AKBHtngTPwrv1nCupT-gUBJe7pQGqgGEfZYipZ_BOx715r96YorWIDt6pxu-YfHkHrJOFYX4yJRkA/s1600/IMG_E1267.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxs499lrrP6aF8iqiKi5yfxWD0_N3DnB0OyptY6bJpZk-R3nvK6Mdlm1Tzyqvo03AKBHtngTPwrv1nCupT-gUBJe7pQGqgGEfZYipZ_BOx715r96YorWIDt6pxu-YfHkHrJOFYX4yJRkA/s400/IMG_E1267.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I did the same for the larger leaves. Once they dried I cut them out. They bent slightly which I liked because it made them more realistic. I used pop dots to adhere to the card base.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjCWgPfjA1F3ypycmuLvZ2tC9OOtrpXuHJfYCzGduPt_fVVxve7SRHSgaSecfByGam9F-a1-AXqsVxNCU_UmVQNpe8dLUdK4LOkwn2VQKrPKXPBjtHBAhVltOhP7b2Wy4mQ5MgAmznAuk/s1600/IMG_E1268.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjCWgPfjA1F3ypycmuLvZ2tC9OOtrpXuHJfYCzGduPt_fVVxve7SRHSgaSecfByGam9F-a1-AXqsVxNCU_UmVQNpe8dLUdK4LOkwn2VQKrPKXPBjtHBAhVltOhP7b2Wy4mQ5MgAmznAuk/s400/IMG_E1268.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This card has been my favorite card I have made for Fall. It is so ironic how something so unpredictable and experimental can turn out so beautiful! </div>

I have a small confession to make. I absolutely love old trucks! This vintage truck stamp set, though almost vintage itself, is still one of my all time favorites! I appreciate how I can switch out what is in the back of the truck depending on who I am giving it to or the season. Even though the entire set is wood mounted it is surprisingly easy to line up.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

After I colored it in with distress markers, I cut it out and pop dotted it on the card front.<br />

As you may know, I am committed to creating Fall cards from things I already own. I am embarressed to admit this, but I have had this gorgeous embossing folder in my stash for a few years and have not ever used it -- until now! I knew it would be lovely with <a href="https://www.rinea.com/?aff=6">Rinea Foiled Paper</a> .</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWdkh_YHcJKgxzjsOCEf0nnqh3_QL1HtMn6Ffor0jmehcqOdHiwdl1zP7xym7hzrFmv3kl4zNd98xji43A-GmgYg5cubmnd1uDZzHRwPDlIwD9nE9a4h-kf3XArvfb-usGueENO0gGZvw/s1600/QXFY6672.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWdkh_YHcJKgxzjsOCEf0nnqh3_QL1HtMn6Ffor0jmehcqOdHiwdl1zP7xym7hzrFmv3kl4zNd98xji43A-GmgYg5cubmnd1uDZzHRwPDlIwD9nE9a4h-kf3XArvfb-usGueENO0gGZvw/s400/QXFY6672.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
It embossed perfectly! I love how crisp and shiny the leaves embossed.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-XFimmkWA_5AqEHot7cflsmfHVn1L6NYGgJ8obEREl-Ox0Be_xCMUFV8YXtUzL1hxzL9SQ1SFHI1o4nZuP_rLXjf8KNxmWcar8btVeCoicss0RkolIv1ESGwViq2b9ARJr8VAayOt5ZU/s1600/IMG_1270.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-XFimmkWA_5AqEHot7cflsmfHVn1L6NYGgJ8obEREl-Ox0Be_xCMUFV8YXtUzL1hxzL9SQ1SFHI1o4nZuP_rLXjf8KNxmWcar8btVeCoicss0RkolIv1ESGwViq2b9ARJr8VAayOt5ZU/s400/IMG_1270.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I die cut this sweet little owl and ran a permanent ink pad over him and backed him to a green piece of pattern paper.<br />

I really enjoy using <a href="https://www.rinea.com/?aff=6">Rinea</a> because it is sturdy, lightweight and adds something unique to cards. </div>

To celebrate Joy Clare is hosting a blog hop that I am super excited to be in. Please hop along with us! The blog links are listed below. Please leave a comment along the way too. We sure to appreciate those :-)<br />
<br />
I am sharing a Halloween card I created with The Web background stamp by Joy Clare and Tim Holtz paper and clip art.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNAPkNWOMUuVH_so2EcXtotb_LEYGfDKSP16tsbCeqvhyyg2KIhINUxknUDmIeZqt1HEowWpPGEJTHR4v1TmhRnpLfYOiFRcjKVv5-FYoKVwwKt68JbjR9cjFi9_U2kdT1M27MZZw_UCY/s1600/YFPJ3779.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1213" data-original-width="1242" height="390" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNAPkNWOMUuVH_so2EcXtotb_LEYGfDKSP16tsbCeqvhyyg2KIhINUxknUDmIeZqt1HEowWpPGEJTHR4v1TmhRnpLfYOiFRcjKVv5-FYoKVwwKt68JbjR9cjFi9_U2kdT1M27MZZw_UCY/s400/YFPJ3779.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I am a little embarrassed with how quickly this card came together. I think it took me 20 minutes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOgl00CU8uTQsl_YaYjLOUH3EHicLIexdM8NBwKC7CfouqoRoDszT_31r3vtsQoAwvvyKSllrtjPOma9uesUEnOpsPtMqSImR72eK9Ga2x2T5CiT_WyEt4KuVAeqnrDDswAEL2krdk5eU/s1600/IMG_E1682.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOgl00CU8uTQsl_YaYjLOUH3EHicLIexdM8NBwKC7CfouqoRoDszT_31r3vtsQoAwvvyKSllrtjPOma9uesUEnOpsPtMqSImR72eK9Ga2x2T5CiT_WyEt4KuVAeqnrDDswAEL2krdk5eU/s400/IMG_E1682.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I used white pigmented ink and clear embossing powder on the web to make it pop. I added pop dots to the owl and witch and finished the front off with some orange bling from my stash.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKVjyf2afzSqWRHrnYsCqrRr2QdM-s-RJCKNa7k-mJl_QpCVsj18mfKNyD4U2nlPjfneApyp2JPoULxDxJGMEDMcBcbr2lrsbbp7Of4ZWh1YNB3bQx1MFTZUa-Zbv_fIBEeAYd_IOMw_4/s1600/IMG_E1681.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKVjyf2afzSqWRHrnYsCqrRr2QdM-s-RJCKNa7k-mJl_QpCVsj18mfKNyD4U2nlPjfneApyp2JPoULxDxJGMEDMcBcbr2lrsbbp7Of4ZWh1YNB3bQx1MFTZUa-Zbv_fIBEeAYd_IOMw_4/s400/IMG_E1681.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I used this sentiment on the inside of the card:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I pulled out a wooden mounted Stampin' Up set to create these two cards. I used distress markers on the images to give them a watercolor look. I tend to not ever have enough Thanksgiving cards on hand to mail out even though they are some of my favorite to make! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht27MLWbRVgjd3xhKkTWtyCThjw0jlN9v0jMkhDWizW0Ajx98C0G8-KcoIQDHRWu_mcVW4o40onjK4SOfteGDUNVjRKdPVyrtOv-fY2ZqvZGaWeckAoDSit0v6WtyQOwy8eYrZ65dmpAI/s1600/NTII4685.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht27MLWbRVgjd3xhKkTWtyCThjw0jlN9v0jMkhDWizW0Ajx98C0G8-KcoIQDHRWu_mcVW4o40onjK4SOfteGDUNVjRKdPVyrtOv-fY2ZqvZGaWeckAoDSit0v6WtyQOwy8eYrZ65dmpAI/s400/NTII4685.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
For the edge of the tag I embossed it in Penny and stamped leaves the same color.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSsHIocLJN6n4iGky735R36x01TBC4-TRaCWaJoXrXUVX0tt5y314OnBY8ztCi3Jzr45__KDGYseJef7I7POeJvTw9kCT0hRcsQH7L4p46OJCGRO7iP8jDd3ZdZ0JVUv91v-IuldOT0jE/s1600/IMG_E1261.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSsHIocLJN6n4iGky735R36x01TBC4-TRaCWaJoXrXUVX0tt5y314OnBY8ztCi3Jzr45__KDGYseJef7I7POeJvTw9kCT0hRcsQH7L4p46OJCGRO7iP8jDd3ZdZ0JVUv91v-IuldOT0jE/s400/IMG_E1261.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I inked the edges of the stamped sentiment and used pop dots to give it a little more dimension.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihRzKOALGVjc1qMtyG3xSGM363S6OQVEU3VM8Clqwetnejy3a-fkq0q5VHlZh8uOcJZwWtMplNqUzYGeQLeG8pbKTXdU5pci42vJj3L9bJ-7605oYjsrCF-qJs6HoxDNXfmYc6-1CTDKA/s1600/IMG_E1262.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihRzKOALGVjc1qMtyG3xSGM363S6OQVEU3VM8Clqwetnejy3a-fkq0q5VHlZh8uOcJZwWtMplNqUzYGeQLeG8pbKTXdU5pci42vJj3L9bJ-7605oYjsrCF-qJs6HoxDNXfmYc6-1CTDKA/s400/IMG_E1262.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
For this card I stamped directly on a kraft tag and colored it in with distress markers that I went over with a water loaded paint brush.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLfL9WmKILKX7dCR0Z2Xeo2r406TTXn772-ORaDm5mcm4HIRj-SA5gcvx4JeFvUv8yBZHmiqfHExk0kjKVXbUgRiyPgZ2VS_-yNEc5XtKtOdUFGOyMvg4VWq27IvbVFphyaIeUR-iFK1w/s1600/THTG7906.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1231" data-original-width="1242" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLfL9WmKILKX7dCR0Z2Xeo2r406TTXn772-ORaDm5mcm4HIRj-SA5gcvx4JeFvUv8yBZHmiqfHExk0kjKVXbUgRiyPgZ2VS_-yNEc5XtKtOdUFGOyMvg4VWq27IvbVFphyaIeUR-iFK1w/s400/THTG7906.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I added a few Nuvo drops.....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrUpYCmldNazQQDjF1cVm9TNLXJXqb-KAH18OrvQ6LYQJ0pYmYCQePaTNAiYzQDJdO9U5k9eJeFLNP-93jnGQb1sw6hyphenhyphenXbHwPLCUdF86JMmX4tj-cf6OC9o54Gbs6sQ-PGWWSo6ZzFUiQ/s1600/IMG_E1264.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrUpYCmldNazQQDjF1cVm9TNLXJXqb-KAH18OrvQ6LYQJ0pYmYCQePaTNAiYzQDJdO9U5k9eJeFLNP-93jnGQb1sw6hyphenhyphenXbHwPLCUdF86JMmX4tj-cf6OC9o54Gbs6sQ-PGWWSo6ZzFUiQ/s400/IMG_E1264.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
The Fall epoxy is actually a clip for a planner that I decided would be perfect for this card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhImJ0RNhe14_OPGOv0pMRNknNdlumqe162bhTYPc809MthmfQUcDt2ZDiTyh5QKM1NptrsOvLH6C20XuSdSWbNkEFwNVbAoqLUjM9GyUjBpBq_MtgR_W388GTvGHgYY4qvwX3QJvB8Xa0/s1600/IMG_E1265.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhImJ0RNhe14_OPGOv0pMRNknNdlumqe162bhTYPc809MthmfQUcDt2ZDiTyh5QKM1NptrsOvLH6C20XuSdSWbNkEFwNVbAoqLUjM9GyUjBpBq_MtgR_W388GTvGHgYY4qvwX3QJvB8Xa0/s400/IMG_E1265.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When using distress markers try scribbling on a glass mat and picking up the color with a wet paint brush to color with. The results are quite lovely and it stretches how to use them.</div>

For a few months last year I signed up for the Hero Arts Monthly Kits. I thoroughly enjoyed the kits because they came with stamps, inks and coordinating dies. Hero Arts is known for their layering stamp sets in which you layer one stamp on another and so on in different colors to create a detailed image. I created this card using a past kit that contained the layering stamps and six coordinating ink pads.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0HqymQUCHqFZoNiGNXW_tQk5_2nwVWG1Ig5qDyPaycEk_UvrylFv6vTTvbVfjtFsC5_qwvVhU2ENx04hsxiGrHvGjN_PPqM9fYn_dXEsnm8S0WtM3H5347lrQcFQ1KJvCcj2taQDWIGI/s1600/KHOA8096.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1241" data-original-width="1242" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0HqymQUCHqFZoNiGNXW_tQk5_2nwVWG1Ig5qDyPaycEk_UvrylFv6vTTvbVfjtFsC5_qwvVhU2ENx04hsxiGrHvGjN_PPqM9fYn_dXEsnm8S0WtM3H5347lrQcFQ1KJvCcj2taQDWIGI/s400/KHOA8096.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I used my stamp platform to create the sunflower and pumpkin to make sure I perfectly aligned the images.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuTO1XRAaA0f3FVQUvVW9Eru3R8JoImNYJ79D512kZeT2-epIfx8xjprzoiuYpidLbepMkJdkb7RAA1ul3SMVJOFsh0V4CpV1UJ5IkgJmIlMcH4OMtjdn2uYpzniem3U49LLQqGd0Rb2s/s1600/IMG_E1273.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuTO1XRAaA0f3FVQUvVW9Eru3R8JoImNYJ79D512kZeT2-epIfx8xjprzoiuYpidLbepMkJdkb7RAA1ul3SMVJOFsh0V4CpV1UJ5IkgJmIlMcH4OMtjdn2uYpzniem3U49LLQqGd0Rb2s/s400/IMG_E1273.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
Once the images were complete I used the dies to cut them out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvurlHLRPDr8r2bNPJO39xrfQ93KG6IGS3tettaGECxCUtlhdf2ox-kORyAjlwZYsZ6XKZZhjozQyWiQzKSOjkC5nebZBjA5GqZ8E4Xu9sGqi8GxcKlL2pjlNY_uaV2nPOKkp24Ly4tQE/s1600/IMG_E1274.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvurlHLRPDr8r2bNPJO39xrfQ93KG6IGS3tettaGECxCUtlhdf2ox-kORyAjlwZYsZ6XKZZhjozQyWiQzKSOjkC5nebZBjA5GqZ8E4Xu9sGqi8GxcKlL2pjlNY_uaV2nPOKkp24Ly4tQE/s400/IMG_E1274.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I created the focal point on a plain red tag to contrast nicely on the pattered background.<br />
<br />
Layered stamps are a great alternative for crafters who do not like to color or are insecure in their coloring ability (like me!).<br />

Therefore, I just had to create a card focusing on a great big web!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJaWi_xOm_Urz7S59gQSYkJweLGhhY50dqMb_F21AISO57SsEE8JP8r6otWGXxFEjdogZFO-jk6j9TbxMLP7-r_GYLWTQ2UVrCgrsi0ptJbiRV3zME2k9hOpaF2CrA_I2Ni6Cn02bmpXg/s1600/MQCG3809.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1243" data-original-width="1242" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJaWi_xOm_Urz7S59gQSYkJweLGhhY50dqMb_F21AISO57SsEE8JP8r6otWGXxFEjdogZFO-jk6j9TbxMLP7-r_GYLWTQ2UVrCgrsi0ptJbiRV3zME2k9hOpaF2CrA_I2Ni6Cn02bmpXg/s320/MQCG3809.JPG" width="319" /></a></div>
I inked up my CTMH spider web in white pigmented ink and heat embossed it directly on a black card base. In the lower corner I did the same with the word BOO!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFivWtmrLurLiUzCAGRdEyBlm9Ct8Epzo0AV98ssL6KOGByXIz6uBWxey_Aw6hXNcySImRYThKSZvmV-3BykFhRAaVcAP7HwAQCtirxbS8LEHt4DGSoIxO5rY-7LSd6-Xi7eriGvQ-4rI/s1600/IMG_E1285.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFivWtmrLurLiUzCAGRdEyBlm9Ct8Epzo0AV98ssL6KOGByXIz6uBWxey_Aw6hXNcySImRYThKSZvmV-3BykFhRAaVcAP7HwAQCtirxbS8LEHt4DGSoIxO5rY-7LSd6-Xi7eriGvQ-4rI/s320/IMG_E1285.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
I actually stamped the Boo! a little higher than anticipated, so I added two strips of washi tape. Sometimes mistakes work out so well :-)<br />

During times of loss a hand made card can warm the heart like nothing else. Since death is often no predictable it is best to make a few to have on hand. I used the Hedgehog Hollow September 2018 to create a Deepest Sympathy card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig-8yLgJoXaFzmp1kI9Ky-3lkBZK25V2j3GqP_gI0lcuUUDEzMW_1YpsK9CzYkZr5hRYi0xGHtxD38J9atcgODCy3-TN4wGTLPTvo3emvF3Z44ICAghDZ9-Or0qP4lSiwp2wicQ-q6zzA/s1600/IMG_E1551.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1229" data-original-width="1242" height="395" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig-8yLgJoXaFzmp1kI9Ky-3lkBZK25V2j3GqP_gI0lcuUUDEzMW_1YpsK9CzYkZr5hRYi0xGHtxD38J9atcgODCy3-TN4wGTLPTvo3emvF3Z44ICAghDZ9-Or0qP4lSiwp2wicQ-q6zzA/s400/IMG_E1551.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I stamped the flowers with Catherine Pooler's Coral Cabana ink pad. I stamped the stems and sentiment with a black detailed ink. Using the Marvy Uchida brush tip pens I colored in the flowers and stems.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwNPZ_vqs5f2EqgSZSCo6-guRHpwIUdYS8Fz4GkSuHAxmOXvBzDuU7mYtT7pkd1AUbsTVtRtYeO_VRbPbSKXXPVwuRJJ0lDrEL8tM-dyBPAxwaJ7k3AiIChkXWaZIqHFbtBXyP_jCsLsU/s1600/IMG_E1539.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwNPZ_vqs5f2EqgSZSCo6-guRHpwIUdYS8Fz4GkSuHAxmOXvBzDuU7mYtT7pkd1AUbsTVtRtYeO_VRbPbSKXXPVwuRJJ0lDrEL8tM-dyBPAxwaJ7k3AiIChkXWaZIqHFbtBXyP_jCsLsU/s400/IMG_E1539.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I sprinkled Color Burst on a piece of white cardstock and misted with gold glimmer mist. Once it dried I used an oval die cut to trim it out and inked the edges.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivnuZAZLiEcHKPIZH0uGjJMacql9jmuWddeszX6TxQKMc2-dhTEU31FQvPKrKGRezh2WoqO3GsFI1ZNngPDcMJSI40Ri0e3TnxyXtrKl-veAzWfoqviCScS8ZoPI9TEiU8ybkBS-NzrJw/s1600/IMG_E1538.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivnuZAZLiEcHKPIZH0uGjJMacql9jmuWddeszX6TxQKMc2-dhTEU31FQvPKrKGRezh2WoqO3GsFI1ZNngPDcMJSI40Ri0e3TnxyXtrKl-veAzWfoqviCScS8ZoPI9TEiU8ybkBS-NzrJw/s400/IMG_E1538.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I pop dotted the flowers and sentiment over the stems I adhered with a liquid adhesive. To finish if off I added a few pearls.<br />
<br />
I find it easier to create these cards with no specific person in mind. If I am creating a sympathy card for a loved one I tend to break down and unable to complete it. By working on several sympathy cards at a time it makes it easier.<br />

<br />
I am sharing with you a banner I created:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjavXuCZZjUrt9R50siim5ft5CcHTxsadWiODL5GV6B8sj044q9O-fEAozI5othqiNl_74GkrNBmOJAUBdM22ErowJ2_BfiLu-UGTLCCAdZl0j4xs-HFiSq82AOI17CZ3tI_QEP_htJC9w/s1600/ELHM1792.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1233" data-original-width="1242" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjavXuCZZjUrt9R50siim5ft5CcHTxsadWiODL5GV6B8sj044q9O-fEAozI5othqiNl_74GkrNBmOJAUBdM22ErowJ2_BfiLu-UGTLCCAdZl0j4xs-HFiSq82AOI17CZ3tI_QEP_htJC9w/s400/ELHM1792.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I found a CCB banner kit in my stash that I thought would be perfect for Halloween:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0_EF4nwZc8xy-N0BZsoEwnJP8rM9bVdP4Voa1k7Ln7FSQx1-NdMwxU6r8CVjYPVRchUMV6u-mX8rQoSqAkKm5SkUMR7-2PENUknu6tUDWU1goX_jGd7x3VISw51DcCx_2K9E970xbReQ/s1600/IMG_1133.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0_EF4nwZc8xy-N0BZsoEwnJP8rM9bVdP4Voa1k7Ln7FSQx1-NdMwxU6r8CVjYPVRchUMV6u-mX8rQoSqAkKm5SkUMR7-2PENUknu6tUDWU1goX_jGd7x3VISw51DcCx_2K9E970xbReQ/s400/IMG_1133.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the black and white polka dot paper from the kit as a template to create the pieces. I first cut out the smaller piece and traced it 1/4 inch larger on different substrates as a backing:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIyHEIhU7vDNAlFi4tn74T-PklSLyEO9WRv6YzVMLNlM647-xZ9nuAzxlraXxDwnfKAC5sjzJcge9O77ex_5wh5Ek0Y7SxVvbdhQPBRBt-fmzUvmRzc8yXemaw3BhDKzibNC72a7bDT1Q/s1600/IMG_1132.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIyHEIhU7vDNAlFi4tn74T-PklSLyEO9WRv6YzVMLNlM647-xZ9nuAzxlraXxDwnfKAC5sjzJcge9O77ex_5wh5Ek0Y7SxVvbdhQPBRBt-fmzUvmRzc8yXemaw3BhDKzibNC72a7bDT1Q/s400/IMG_1132.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCe3z9ltDwPSa7cbjivIYWa6DMO364X7YBEC1qErRnK0mTW4wdOisFbPyyoPyPIXDwznNL7VFpna99Agg5vn9Sfigr53aS4cFF2yyRZeWnBTlpkAGfrkFMTzev_lLsXZU2qU1Jhaw4-Q8/s1600/IMG_E1129.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCe3z9ltDwPSa7cbjivIYWa6DMO364X7YBEC1qErRnK0mTW4wdOisFbPyyoPyPIXDwznNL7VFpna99Agg5vn9Sfigr53aS4cFF2yyRZeWnBTlpkAGfrkFMTzev_lLsXZU2qU1Jhaw4-Q8/s400/IMG_E1129.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I misted each piece with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and set them aside to dry:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIfGjTsAK2Bpn1ai_CTSMGYfaBIKTSKnZtKP8RVCdPOY10VK3u8NO4nVJv-ukB7QRVT9Y4gPZkuIZWw0wEjGecT4x6L93LiW6pqmEdWdZlESBvgI53ZufBY2ak-kbu6Oyjw3Xhu2udE-Q/s1600/IMG_1128.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIfGjTsAK2Bpn1ai_CTSMGYfaBIKTSKnZtKP8RVCdPOY10VK3u8NO4nVJv-ukB7QRVT9Y4gPZkuIZWw0wEjGecT4x6L93LiW6pqmEdWdZlESBvgI53ZufBY2ak-kbu6Oyjw3Xhu2udE-Q/s400/IMG_1128.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the Halloween Kraft pack to create the smaller pieces of the banner:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicGij6o75if1Hons8rUYLs-D8mOm8rgIiwbHUSdVCVYG8RaFcnmLeibM5u5Tjf1Yxsk-7iDrzvGZ7i8S2U5Yroy8_tPmR8ny_F_rPEYK3IydwZ46vWWij-RrxZrDNf4NJkM1M8egwYjpE/s1600/IMG_1131.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicGij6o75if1Hons8rUYLs-D8mOm8rgIiwbHUSdVCVYG8RaFcnmLeibM5u5Tjf1Yxsk-7iDrzvGZ7i8S2U5Yroy8_tPmR8ny_F_rPEYK3IydwZ46vWWij-RrxZrDNf4NJkM1M8egwYjpE/s400/IMG_1131.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0Sx7bvwkSO1Vo9ma-smX6RcrKk8G03Qnw4e6xEuAZyxSN-i1DFhRSiKOZZks6vR9BDWEW8Vag4Jipsef21HjkhUEooLFbSCsU7xQNn-dkw6Ex_59mtkzS0gfYkyk1oMlHbcTavkdZdRI/s1600/IMG_1127.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0Sx7bvwkSO1Vo9ma-smX6RcrKk8G03Qnw4e6xEuAZyxSN-i1DFhRSiKOZZks6vR9BDWEW8Vag4Jipsef21HjkhUEooLFbSCsU7xQNn-dkw6Ex_59mtkzS0gfYkyk1oMlHbcTavkdZdRI/s400/IMG_1127.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I found some wonderful images from the mini art fall paper pack that I painted with glimmer mist. I loved playing on this paper because it was such a beautifully strong substrate that withstood a lot of water. I waited for everything to dry and assembled the banner. I cut a few canvas strips to sew on to the top of each piece to hang from the rope provided in the kit. To finish it off I found gold chipboard letters that are probably over a decade old in my stash to spell out "SPOOKY". </div>

One of the best stamps sets I have ever purchased is the Crazy birds by Tim Holtz! It comes with a slew of accessory stamps to customize with any season or holiday. Naturally I had to create a Halloween card with it! </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used Distress Markers to color in the bird and pumpkin and I think it works great with the background paper. The card came together rather quickly, but it looks like it took a lot of time. I love the web paper as a backdrop to the focal point. </div>

Have you ever used digital downloads on your cards? I must confess that I did not even know they could come in such gorgeous prints until my friend, Linda Israel, introduced me to <a href="http://www.calicocollage.com/store/c8/Shop.html">Calico Collage</a> . I have been hooked ever sense! Not only are the images gorgeous, but they are easy to store (on your computer), cheaper than buying paper, reusable (just print them up as much as you need them) and fast (if you don't have time to wait for something to ship). I created two cards using a digital print and stamps from Close to my Heart. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcmQJ7gu0_9cNgtE7UB5ISHQMJzjndL41uiOiE7J6l44BotvxKLlwRUxkf486kA-UBhlbOt6qd_7Mxgd8_xwrdPmugcL5teQp30uTBfi89FKxNSTMJiDiJ563RmdiNxFiHkehyphenhyphen2QegxoQ/s1600/UVRU2671.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcmQJ7gu0_9cNgtE7UB5ISHQMJzjndL41uiOiE7J6l44BotvxKLlwRUxkf486kA-UBhlbOt6qd_7Mxgd8_xwrdPmugcL5teQp30uTBfi89FKxNSTMJiDiJ563RmdiNxFiHkehyphenhyphen2QegxoQ/s400/UVRU2671.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I used a Kraft tag that I distressed and popped a spooky sticker on it as the focal point. I then added a few more embellishments and stamped my sentiment.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

For this card I stamped the witch from the same stamp set and heat embossed her in black. I cut her out and used pop dots to adhere her to the card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I added three gems to balance it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizk7bBhydLweQMJ14I_vfcizjNAuX7u0LP4ibOLbBgq7x-R9sAxMfg44pVY4e4MfP9LiHho5vSAsdeLy9ds_bf2k90YAnrc60XWBN9B0vwJoA_liynVnJJrxWYLsHL8FF00Yij_Kk7_-M/s1600/IMG_E1288.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizk7bBhydLweQMJ14I_vfcizjNAuX7u0LP4ibOLbBgq7x-R9sAxMfg44pVY4e4MfP9LiHho5vSAsdeLy9ds_bf2k90YAnrc60XWBN9B0vwJoA_liynVnJJrxWYLsHL8FF00Yij_Kk7_-M/s400/IMG_E1288.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
For the sentiment, I stamped it in clear embossing ink, embossed it and added distress ink over the area. I then took a baby wipe and removed some of the ink.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I found this pumpkin die in my stash and knew it needed to be on a card. Once again I pulled out my <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/">Brutus Monroe Stamps</a> because I think I got this die with the stamp set. I wanted to make it pop so I thought it would be fun to cut it out using <a href="https://www.rinea.com/?aff=6">Rinea Foiled Paper!</a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe1t3LTVH1rEpu7dOzMbg90pZvehKtbpJDrnJKVB6djg7e85PGGlxQ5LzAy_QhvkzkiYEhNnkigqgJlA7qToNAES_FV8C4UNnZAILPwgHb5Ni29U1SLNnZiUPGxcatBKitKWz2ktUWFRc/s1600/MELD7476.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1231" data-original-width="1242" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe1t3LTVH1rEpu7dOzMbg90pZvehKtbpJDrnJKVB6djg7e85PGGlxQ5LzAy_QhvkzkiYEhNnkigqgJlA7qToNAES_FV8C4UNnZAILPwgHb5Ni29U1SLNnZiUPGxcatBKitKWz2ktUWFRc/s400/MELD7476.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
To create the pumpkin I die cut it on orange starstruck paper and traced the die on ebony foiled paper as a backing. I ran it through my sticker machine and attached it to my card base. So easy!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnYGPjpOIa5Yn_Fq6lsUFwbqNSIBm0ZLEhr_NWMmkonjgLkeu3hbmeqfliH1_WU0NykMtdzTgRKdwnfVhjnnBNSGHXTo4vIf2kAB_z_BLe9Vr7VhTTgVWtGu_Ny4d1Ryi7skFAB7LSadU/s1600/IMG_E1306.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnYGPjpOIa5Yn_Fq6lsUFwbqNSIBm0ZLEhr_NWMmkonjgLkeu3hbmeqfliH1_WU0NykMtdzTgRKdwnfVhjnnBNSGHXTo4vIf2kAB_z_BLe9Vr7VhTTgVWtGu_Ny4d1Ryi7skFAB7LSadU/s400/IMG_E1306.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I stamped the little crow and pumpkin that I water colored in and trimmed with my Scan n Cut.<br />

The script for "Bloom" is one of my favorites. I like the size of the word too. I really wanted to create a card that could showcase that one word -- Bloom.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhApyocMhqITdwCJP_1qhc3gN7UY-HtMwd2KmEjUoRSmBSfY93HJuNCGnULAtAQmCd24c05ezStsDmpxw8HGFy9E894uAA9BZa51vIUTGq4dClACIDGUWPUIcB5civrKYkE8qBAGxxprno/s1600/IMG_E1550.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhApyocMhqITdwCJP_1qhc3gN7UY-HtMwd2KmEjUoRSmBSfY93HJuNCGnULAtAQmCd24c05ezStsDmpxw8HGFy9E894uAA9BZa51vIUTGq4dClACIDGUWPUIcB5civrKYkE8qBAGxxprno/s400/IMG_E1550.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
To create this card stamp the sentiment with Catherine Pooper Coral Cabana Ink pad. Next line the stem of the Bountiful Floral up under the sentiment making sure there is enough room for the flower. Color the stem in with the green brush tip marker. On a separate piece of white card stock, stamp the flower image and color with blue brush tip marker. Using a pop dot adhere the flower to the stem and add a little glitter glue to the center. Stamp "Where you are Planted" along the bottom. Adhere card stock with images to a mat and place on card front. Finish off with a few Nuvo Dew Drops.<br />

When I saw this stamp set last year I knew I had to have it! <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/products/witch-please">Witch Please....</a> is a Brutus Monroe Stamp Set that is probably one of the Halloween favorite with that company. It is perfect for those that have a sarcastic and/or sassy personality. </div>

To create this card I took a piece of mixed media cardstock and covered it with Colorburst. As that dried I die cut two circles and stamped my image along with the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock.<br />

We all know somebody who does not like spooky Halloween. They prefer to keep it on the cute side. I made a card with just that person in mind. Close to my Heart released an adorable stamp set a few years back in which the crafter could create an owl by using the pieces wanted. I used that stamp set to create this pretty simple card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To shade in the owl I used copic markers. I distressed the tag with Distress Ink and added a gem to finish it off. It looks more complicated than what it really is because of the pattern paper I selected as the back drop.</div>

It has been awhile, but I need you to hang with me. I have been lacking motivation the last two months and have completed a few challenges. I have had to do seperate uploads for each challenge and they follow this post. In the mean time, here are my recent creations of the last few months. Sorry about the flash, but I am still trying to learn this camera I have.
<br />
<br />
Isn't this picture of my Parker too funny? This has been his latest thing. I ask him to smile and he has to do these big funny eyes too! All of this is CTMH!

This is such a funny thing that my sister and I did. We were crawling around on the floor to get a picture of these adorable easter baskets that she had found for her and my kids. We were trying to get just the perfect shot. It was late and we were tired and one of us turned our camera on the other and we got into this camera war. She has all the pictures of me and I of her.

I used a sketch to complete this page and I am not sure I am loving it. I am doing a page of the month thing through Basic Gray and in the process I am starting to appreciate BG a lot more. This paper is all BG as well as the paper I made the flower from. The other bits are from another line.

One of the very first Halloween stamp sets I ever purchased was from Stampin' Up over ten years ago. I remember debating with myself on if I really wanted it because at the time we really did not celebrate Halloween in a scary way. I am fairly certain that this stamp set purchase it what pushed me over to the dark side of Halloween. I created two cards with this stamp set for this year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-wU_W09jZK22HrdTZw3rdqduKRKba8EPA58JiAhbZq5N2eypdSnbcb9pCsUawx5f-seQsd4kKGCSfll-aivAu-hByoq7guZ-qIamLNEsovjBBnmMlMY_JzO0H4Ny8RygFkmZugTkOT9s/s1600/LUAI1404.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1216" data-original-width="1242" height="391" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-wU_W09jZK22HrdTZw3rdqduKRKba8EPA58JiAhbZq5N2eypdSnbcb9pCsUawx5f-seQsd4kKGCSfll-aivAu-hByoq7guZ-qIamLNEsovjBBnmMlMY_JzO0H4Ny8RygFkmZugTkOT9s/s400/LUAI1404.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
For this card, I used Tim Holtz Halloween paper pad I bought last year on clearance with his washi tape (also last year and on clearance). I stamped three images, fussy cut them out and pop dotted them on the card. I added three black gems to create balance.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkP-i7SmJDULTdra9OzsOZ3OodPglbKYRLL6LXblB2Bw3Dsg3euUoe3eKblCPapjs0uZd0m-tRgl_zw6CdaPHwWwu_MmLz0_quaw7obpNnn7EG8_fonpfZT0w6XT0ZKCSSOn0JcRz6SKs/s1600/IMG_E1313.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkP-i7SmJDULTdra9OzsOZ3OodPglbKYRLL6LXblB2Bw3Dsg3euUoe3eKblCPapjs0uZd0m-tRgl_zw6CdaPHwWwu_MmLz0_quaw7obpNnn7EG8_fonpfZT0w6XT0ZKCSSOn0JcRz6SKs/s400/IMG_E1313.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdgY4HmHw7ENj8ZpasyMdH6PMENL7Md-FC-mVf_mZvt56fWa18WRcU66GGK-6vZE5GD54Vemlc4n5eyPwv3pBmfETkH3nbhgVORjbvinmb_s8vKw0SDFLbO5Lo39TBhfbxTCVG57SEkgw/s1600/IMG_E1315.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdgY4HmHw7ENj8ZpasyMdH6PMENL7Md-FC-mVf_mZvt56fWa18WRcU66GGK-6vZE5GD54Vemlc4n5eyPwv3pBmfETkH3nbhgVORjbvinmb_s8vKw0SDFLbO5Lo39TBhfbxTCVG57SEkgw/s400/IMG_E1315.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
This stamp is actually the reason I bought the set. I just love it and still do to this day!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifN5Pq-RmZ15UJxQvyccydrYOPCwg9-rV_lKisA_L1qR7G6kjlhdNLzXQ4IRhGbzUc6uFZdr1YD-uB12NtdSCeJ1HYcNCn2j2sASBcu6CjBoRZG2x9wiM3vwRyPvS0HCoyVZAy_-Z6Uo8/s1600/TLBJ3132.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1229" data-original-width="1242" height="395" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifN5Pq-RmZ15UJxQvyccydrYOPCwg9-rV_lKisA_L1qR7G6kjlhdNLzXQ4IRhGbzUc6uFZdr1YD-uB12NtdSCeJ1HYcNCn2j2sASBcu6CjBoRZG2x9wiM3vwRyPvS0HCoyVZAy_-Z6Uo8/s400/TLBJ3132.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I only added a pop of yellow to the "31" and covered it in clear glaze.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilLsoqvRgEuIwz1eK-45AI_1CyQEt-HIxIG_msC_iVOfe_lgSuf4xA_yS3vVn0TvaNwT7U-OBOnAt98VCaucFoPHDD8X9odET2TCcO6w3W2gt-bj65A1I58xxOUC3e2bhC_8lzKI3CAto/s1600/IMG_E1318.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilLsoqvRgEuIwz1eK-45AI_1CyQEt-HIxIG_msC_iVOfe_lgSuf4xA_yS3vVn0TvaNwT7U-OBOnAt98VCaucFoPHDD8X9odET2TCcO6w3W2gt-bj65A1I58xxOUC3e2bhC_8lzKI3CAto/s400/IMG_E1318.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
To finish off the card I added three gems to the bottom corner.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVQmiOPy9UVMtCFc12fzgDf_Ez2BxkcpZ19npbtSDEw9yM4J_awlaKOBB4_b4Ib6EF3qIQ-_JAKdf-wv0T0EFjbQVRGEtzyei8c9CkSHk5g8imxWzlpD2TiU9hZp0dwOVSJg80PObPrIo/s1600/IMG_E1319.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVQmiOPy9UVMtCFc12fzgDf_Ez2BxkcpZ19npbtSDEw9yM4J_awlaKOBB4_b4Ib6EF3qIQ-_JAKdf-wv0T0EFjbQVRGEtzyei8c9CkSHk5g8imxWzlpD2TiU9hZp0dwOVSJg80PObPrIo/s400/IMG_E1319.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These cards were not only fun to make, but a great walk down memory lane! I think shopping in my stash has been more rewarding than shopping at the store.</div>

I am committed to only using my stash this year to create Fall cards. I was tickled when I ran across one of my favorite stamp set by <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/products/spooky-sentiments">Brutus Monroe</a> for Halloween! I adore this set because there are a few different characters that are the perfect size to color in with sentiments. The best part is they resemble Halloween, but are not so spooky that could be given to a child. I made three cards with the set.<br />
<br />
The first one is a black and white card:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzPrjwAPqFfJjNdsK_MEACmSGKn9h3FcEchn-UQmsPQFlv0i0jF1unTU1n6kopf_0Gns9Gby0AIdVMM-3o_pI-QaL30Db1AxMigTCVaskOYVEEkGcy44yexf9n2s8zCEUcclcZF-Lxj_Q/s1600/EXEC1048.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzPrjwAPqFfJjNdsK_MEACmSGKn9h3FcEchn-UQmsPQFlv0i0jF1unTU1n6kopf_0Gns9Gby0AIdVMM-3o_pI-QaL30Db1AxMigTCVaskOYVEEkGcy44yexf9n2s8zCEUcclcZF-Lxj_Q/s400/EXEC1048.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I added a little red just for some personality.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn5sa5tN-6MB8u5lFqNqd9vuVIfdOkcF7ynwyi7FVpsbxCSowoQ0nnkudwzM9Ul6L8fHq7_TaqvfFVdmDr6ivV9Tgrlsj36gfd14iV-L_7iejvymaZKzI2n99bIApQbLINuUGAzV_FsJk/s1600/IMG_E1300.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn5sa5tN-6MB8u5lFqNqd9vuVIfdOkcF7ynwyi7FVpsbxCSowoQ0nnkudwzM9Ul6L8fHq7_TaqvfFVdmDr6ivV9Tgrlsj36gfd14iV-L_7iejvymaZKzI2n99bIApQbLINuUGAzV_FsJk/s400/IMG_E1300.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
Once I colored in my character I used my Scan n Cut to fussy cut him for me. I left a border on him and used pop dots to adhere to my card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVlNU-oH6DmSYyq_xoZHRzwnOcdlRhCt0C1eiC3VHQH1vE2_JmddMEyh47176DR1kePSGdodaeuO0bcKNadGCxMfESFfvTON5kXbZ8BRb6sekOUSU7U12Ik5E2w0VqyB4SL75WNUTLdWQ/s1600/IMG_E1301.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVlNU-oH6DmSYyq_xoZHRzwnOcdlRhCt0C1eiC3VHQH1vE2_JmddMEyh47176DR1kePSGdodaeuO0bcKNadGCxMfESFfvTON5kXbZ8BRb6sekOUSU7U12Ik5E2w0VqyB4SL75WNUTLdWQ/s400/IMG_E1301.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
The spider I found on clearance last year (after Halloween) at my local craft store. He came in a set of nine!<br />
<br />
Isn't this the friendlies Frankenstein you have ever seen? I just love this little guy!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

What Halloween character is your favorite? Even if you don't have an image of that character in your stash you can use it as inspiration to create something spooky this Halloween!<br />

I have been traveling to Prescott for over 20 years and today I want to share with you why this town has captured my heart. It really is a special place to most that call Arizona their home. It is not a typical Arizona town. In fact, places like Prescott are probably nothing like anyone would imagine could exist in this relatively dry and hot state. However, not all parts of Arizona are desert.<br />
<br />
I like to start my day out at the capitol. it is surrounded by lush green grass and a statue on each side honoring the history of the town.<br />

Whiskey Row is iconic. It started off as a block of bars and night life and has evolved into additions of restaurants, ice cream parlors, vintage shops, art galleries, and antiques. It is directly across from the capitol.<br />

The last weekend of every month there is an Arts and Craft Fair on the lawns of the capitol. It supports and showcases local artists as well as authentic street food. Before venturing through the craft fair I decided to eat and grab a coffee. The tamales were delicious!<br />

The majority of artists that participate in this fair do not have social media accounts, e-mail addresses or even a business card. I asked one gentleman if I could contact him to make me a piece and he said what he has on hand it all that is available. I then requested a business card and he told me he did not do any of that because this is just fun for him and not a business. I admire and respect that these artists are committed solely to their art, but disappointed I can not include any information on any of the artists in the park. This is just another reason you have got to spend a weekend here!<br />

I am so excited for the NEW release of the Rita Barakat Embossing Powder line by Emerald Creek! I got to play with two of the new colors -- Dragon's Egg and Mermaid Fin. Dragon's Egg is a gorgeous purple and Mermaid Fin is a sparkly glitter blue. The first project I created with it is this:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyQIqwof4hYSE2J86tuv9uIwbNiryn-l162SBFpuPp5tIEtvm1fOHZex_l_NiXB52pbLuCHW5QqIaGO9TnSW9EJ0B1N86oiiZvm8jBwc3DW8ThctnQlxV79zSTK5DUp5xHul8jkEdPcT8/s1600/IMWH7840.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1239" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyQIqwof4hYSE2J86tuv9uIwbNiryn-l162SBFpuPp5tIEtvm1fOHZex_l_NiXB52pbLuCHW5QqIaGO9TnSW9EJ0B1N86oiiZvm8jBwc3DW8ThctnQlxV79zSTK5DUp5xHul8jkEdPcT8/s400/IMWH7840.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBCnYQtSNVW_hMiAhFsBwIXOJ-NSM54sPxhd-bi_gNLdqojezlVSDKxvtahDx2TxWoCESdbYWUC6GyVreYpy0KCHmHw2sNt75tjeBcNyTPm4ENkDnmdn-nHNYgy_7vTIgeGUb1ktAtmOA/s1600/PACP4117.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBCnYQtSNVW_hMiAhFsBwIXOJ-NSM54sPxhd-bi_gNLdqojezlVSDKxvtahDx2TxWoCESdbYWUC6GyVreYpy0KCHmHw2sNt75tjeBcNyTPm4ENkDnmdn-nHNYgy_7vTIgeGUb1ktAtmOA/s400/PACP4117.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I had so much fun with making that tag that I decided to create another:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg04L2Ysxvr6Ba6tGS2eWRE0BTm-oIQnSxRDHWNYiEF_8Dw9ta2poEsNVnnzhcl_ZELZck-xJ_hcf8k1F3yIUgeLFfLcy_bD5FRpYgQTTdlxsRmSEeIH0cIDGTKVVckwLjeR09tOp9kp-o/s1600/PZZB3319.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1242" data-original-width="1242" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg04L2Ysxvr6Ba6tGS2eWRE0BTm-oIQnSxRDHWNYiEF_8Dw9ta2poEsNVnnzhcl_ZELZck-xJ_hcf8k1F3yIUgeLFfLcy_bD5FRpYgQTTdlxsRmSEeIH0cIDGTKVVckwLjeR09tOp9kp-o/s400/PZZB3319.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I first gathered my material: a tag and these three paints.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmKahLPmWASyCFm0-e-F-6MMeYAIRDpjTqBuThreBrohMvHWjC54WrFp45ybrI71IAnitN_2Xt2euyCNe4SbfPLhmLZZchGRYL7VaiOhS0ntoD5fRx1UPJinr1r0RxtJNhDLc9N9fEUv8/s1600/IMG_E0774.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmKahLPmWASyCFm0-e-F-6MMeYAIRDpjTqBuThreBrohMvHWjC54WrFp45ybrI71IAnitN_2Xt2euyCNe4SbfPLhmLZZchGRYL7VaiOhS0ntoD5fRx1UPJinr1r0RxtJNhDLc9N9fEUv8/s400/IMG_E0774.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
Using my fingers I applied the acrylic paint to the tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmMxfL7O7rlbE58ftbu0EJWxYD1jKmd2ch86NOw8Bek0EnJkZhjLciH44e1a-Tc4zl_SiFNAhgXvm9WsJlojK_n0U2QkqsKocwwpcLxefOBfDPWzQpiLkcckYEPDGJ1kIV6EYw5pdgtas/s1600/IMG_E0773.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmMxfL7O7rlbE58ftbu0EJWxYD1jKmd2ch86NOw8Bek0EnJkZhjLciH44e1a-Tc4zl_SiFNAhgXvm9WsJlojK_n0U2QkqsKocwwpcLxefOBfDPWzQpiLkcckYEPDGJ1kIV6EYw5pdgtas/s400/IMG_E0773.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
Using the Zen Cloud Art Foamie stamp I stamped and embossed the image with Dragon' Egg.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN1VrAr7wnCFnTOfcjKzOaC2orbZxVGZL0f8UvVuEgiJ9ezmjSqZGo1YhsVWuEoZ9jNAx_PIcVf1CFyH3D1gU53COh0FWQM4rMcNSkLBqPvUtm7rj4wbAPsUhRaSiadj_wv9vtKvVWBmQ/s1600/IMG_E0772.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN1VrAr7wnCFnTOfcjKzOaC2orbZxVGZL0f8UvVuEgiJ9ezmjSqZGo1YhsVWuEoZ9jNAx_PIcVf1CFyH3D1gU53COh0FWQM4rMcNSkLBqPvUtm7rj4wbAPsUhRaSiadj_wv9vtKvVWBmQ/s400/IMG_E0772.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
I applied the color shield and I inked the edges and embossed them twice with Mermaid Fin to create a gorgeous thick border.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxq-cxZwqY8WNw-UTLKNGXT3bWHoiwEsJ3XtuhBiFFstA24iwq9B65aikpLm0ubLq4UHJfv-nJLYKWvo06wbDQlCLDAtKIGuHsysiIsSirlcye_dfqt53TAsOjSec7asFTQucaE0yc9K8/s1600/IMG_E0771.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxq-cxZwqY8WNw-UTLKNGXT3bWHoiwEsJ3XtuhBiFFstA24iwq9B65aikpLm0ubLq4UHJfv-nJLYKWvo06wbDQlCLDAtKIGuHsysiIsSirlcye_dfqt53TAsOjSec7asFTQucaE0yc9K8/s400/IMG_E0771.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
Using foam dots I adhered the mermaid to the tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLkDFsSFC8VNuM1_RPXuk_qqdLyLxs6EN8a9EP4Vg0iPXp8CNYx5MHtAQRMbEzfDxdBvjrzI-cGfuP5BHeN7zJV_7Nx8G0Jtd_bs-zao0X9K-DeZN_uKUTqsAXzn83-XzZVDMGfQaurXs/s1600/IMG_E0770.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLkDFsSFC8VNuM1_RPXuk_qqdLyLxs6EN8a9EP4Vg0iPXp8CNYx5MHtAQRMbEzfDxdBvjrzI-cGfuP5BHeN7zJV_7Nx8G0Jtd_bs-zao0X9K-DeZN_uKUTqsAXzn83-XzZVDMGfQaurXs/s400/IMG_E0770.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
Finally I added some glitter glue and clear glaze to make her shine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I created this:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzXmDnV_Wwf_SW_vgdhyezOakwQ29OdR-KTDzS1YTRqv2FSy1ecVcjjogGphdF2cssiDOaWTGKEvQgFMYpLQ_er9HDxk18C0i7uCd5J-dbSApq0Z1QFf2YAvnRt136Spg0TEZyQRqJmDA/s1600/IMG_E0696-CCB.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="746" data-original-width="750" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzXmDnV_Wwf_SW_vgdhyezOakwQ29OdR-KTDzS1YTRqv2FSy1ecVcjjogGphdF2cssiDOaWTGKEvQgFMYpLQ_er9HDxk18C0i7uCd5J-dbSApq0Z1QFf2YAvnRt136Spg0TEZyQRqJmDA/s400/IMG_E0696-CCB.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
I glimmer misted a piece of raw canvas in blues and greens and then cut them into strips. I tied a knot in the bottom of each strip and adhered it to a circle that I had cut from double sided adhesive. I twisted the canvas strip and placed it on the circle. I also did this same technique with some pretty twine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAIiH58Yd_0FVA5eD-fG_mZXIRftF3WVznKSXdei1BDcsBY7geQ39rQIfjwI9LkIOU9jJHItZ6He1bdqvKGWH5pFyzawmi0oPSzawbZQ2J0Af4FJrT9UxLBGHJEz-Nr5t5XbBaq6BGOo8/s1600/IMG_E0697.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1228" data-original-width="1226" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAIiH58Yd_0FVA5eD-fG_mZXIRftF3WVznKSXdei1BDcsBY7geQ39rQIfjwI9LkIOU9jJHItZ6He1bdqvKGWH5pFyzawmi0oPSzawbZQ2J0Af4FJrT9UxLBGHJEz-Nr5t5XbBaq6BGOo8/s400/IMG_E0697.JPG" width="398" /></a></div>
For the leaves I hand cut them out of the green portion of the canvas, added some veins with a black water color brush pen and spritzed it with a little water to soften the lines.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK4NrAL1Be0DOcYyXpemOnHj0ifJjYmiqwwbptf9wabtW9AgdI3bDOqIMCTBPXrBHCKtwm-Qg9bBGfxuvtjGIWvTneJinB__NwlMFKAMoB9uVRJidIlmMuG8XTR61FUrtv7-kIUF5OJEo/s1600/IMG_E0698.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="1242" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK4NrAL1Be0DOcYyXpemOnHj0ifJjYmiqwwbptf9wabtW9AgdI3bDOqIMCTBPXrBHCKtwm-Qg9bBGfxuvtjGIWvTneJinB__NwlMFKAMoB9uVRJidIlmMuG8XTR61FUrtv7-kIUF5OJEo/s400/IMG_E0698.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I adhered it all to the pouch and added a few gems to fill it out.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When I was first presented with this challenge I was totally clueless on what to do. I just started painting and then got to this. What have you created that was unexpected?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
