I was inspired yesterday after seeing my friend's blog -Kylie. She was inspired by my other very talented and creative friend Amy (ownder of Commit2paper). I tried my hand at it. It turned out different than I expected, but good. I took left over thickers and placed them all over a 12 by 1 sheet, painted the sheet green, and covered in crakling paint. I then inked it with distressing ink and glimmer misted it with a blue base and green base mist. I then just scrapped like I would on a normal piece of 12 by 12. I have no patience! The paint did not dry fast enough for me. Here are a few shots of it!
I love love this. We had a challange a good while back to do the "abc's of me" and this would be the perfect way.
ReplyDeletegreat job!
love the skunk ideas too!
This is cool looking - I like the texture you get using the thickers and crackle paint.
ReplyDeleteIt like it. It's funny how they all turned out different from each other. I think that the reason my punctuation and Amy's letters were so defined is that we used much darker paints than you. The LO really looks good though. I put my page in a page protector and flattened it under some books and it looks much better after a day or so if that helps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Kylie!
