OK, I know I am 20 minutes early, but here is the next post. I really liked this kit!
There are two favorite LOs I did over the weekend and this is one of them! My new tat! Amy actually took the picture for me and she did a fabulous job!
This is my brother.....I have no idea where he gets the personality from.....goodness knows I am just a stick in the mud. :-P
Welcome to my little spot in the cyber world! I am a mixed media artist that will always hold a special place in my heart for paper crafting.

C2P August LOs!!!!
I had the most enjoyable time with C2P owner -- Amy this last weekend. We really hit it off! Not only is this gal one of the nicest, smartest, and funniest gals I have the privilege of calling a close friend she is also extremely talented and inspirational! Take a look at the LO I created using the Aug kit she put together.
I must admit that American Craft is not my favorite paper to work with, but I loved playing with this kit and I am not just saying that. This is awesome for those summer pictures! Come back every day for the remainder of the week to see what I did with the C2P July and May kits! Please leave some love!:-)

Three New Ones!
Here are three LO I completed last week. The first and last are from a Rusty Pickle line (I think it was called Candy something or other). I had to have the paper months back and finally got to use it. The one in the middle is done with the Studio Calico Kit for June.
I hand cut the PP apart to make this LO of the Jelly Belly Factory. I then outlined in stickles. I am really happy with how it turned out! The star in the middle is a chipboard piece I covered in PP.
First, I have to tell you who that beautiful brunette is! She is my best friend from junior high and high school. I remember sitting and writing letters to boys with her and the stuff our minds came up with -- WOW! I could so use a lesson from my 15 year old self! LOL! Anyways, this is her today with two of my kiddos. My son LOVES her. He has a crush on her. He saw the page and told me how much he wants to go to her house and get hugs. The LO is done with the June Studio Calico kit. I also stitched on it and outlined the title in stickles -- which I hand cut -- each letter!
This is another LO I used with that PP I had to have! The title is from my stash as well. I think it is Me and My Big Idea. I had to have that when I saw it too -- nice that some of this stuff is getting used. Anyways, this is one of my favorite treasures back home - Jelly Belly Factory!

ABC's of Life
I was inspired yesterday after seeing my friend's blog -Kylie. She was inspired by my other very talented and creative friend Amy (ownder of Commit2paper). I tried my hand at it. It turned out different than I expected, but good. I took left over thickers and placed them all over a 12 by 1 sheet, painted the sheet green, and covered in crakling paint. I then inked it with distressing ink and glimmer misted it with a blue base and green base mist. I then just scrapped like I would on a normal piece of 12 by 12. I have no patience! The paint did not dry fast enough for me. Here are a few shots of it!

Getting Older Stinks!
I made it back home in one piece from California. I am from Northern California and I took the kiddos and I back home for a visit. We had a great time! The weather was cool and we spent a lot of time at the parks. We also visited San Francisco, Jelly Belly Factory (one of my favorite local things to do), Pt. Rayes, horse back riding, a mule carriage ride, and lots of visiting with family.
I managed to get a LO done regarding my Birthday. I found this one sheet of paper that I had to have. I thought the skunk was tooooo cute, but had no idea what to do on it until I saw this photo of me and thought "getting older sure does stink!" I knew that was the title and I had just the Paper for it. Now, I have a ton of title ideas for skunk related items (I love this critter on scrap booking stuff). Some titles include:
Growing Up Stinks
You stink
This Stinks
What is that smell?
Stop and Smell the Roses.
Oh, the three pictures on the side is of my brother and I. We had our Birthday bash at Pt. Rayes. This location is loaded with jelly fish. I did not want to swim out to the platform we were on. In fact I was really not wanting to get stung by the jelly fish, but the locals said the jelly fish in these parts did not sting. So, I happily swam over about five jelly fish to get to it. Once I got back on shore I was told they do sting by other locals.....who knows? No reports of stinging there or on the California coast (or not that I have heard).
